With new technology, our staff is able to test for certain strains of bacteria before damage occurs. Genetics many are periodontics treatmentalso another predisposing factor. At Solutionz, our highly educated staff conduct DNA testing for the accurate diagnosis of periodontal (gum) infections. This information is vital with treatment because we can now identify the specific cause of the infection; therefore making the treatment more effective. When any dental treatment is needed, our Soft Tissue Management program (gum treatment) may be recommended to provide healthy tight gum tissues that surround each tooth.

Our doctors and hygienists work strongly together in detecting and treating gum disease. They use certain techniques, chemotherapeutic agents, and localized antibiotics, and, as a result, have a high success of controlling a healthy foundation for the mouth. Laser Periodontal Therapy (LPT) is a laser- based procedure and is specifically used for the treatment of moderate to severe periodontitis (more advanced gum disease). The laser has replaced the scalpel! No Cutting, No sewing! LPT is a minimally invasive procedure and is widely accepted by patients. LPT is a breakthrough in dentistry!

The desired result is achieving new attachment of gum tissue to the root surface of a tooth, thereby decreasing the pocket depth. Ideally, regeneration of supporting bone and regrowth of certain ligaments that surround teeth will also occur.

Our Specialists and Hygienists stay in close communication with our patients to achieve and maintain healthy gums and bone (the foundation of the mouth).
